The short version
RVA Tonight does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. We don't have user accounts, analytics trackers, or advertising SDKs. We don't know who you are, and that's by design.
1. Information We Collect
RVA Tonight does not collect personal information. Here's what the app stores and where:

All of this data stays on your device. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app removes it permanently.
2. Event Data
The app fetches event information from our server, which aggregates publicly available data from venue websites, public APIs (MLB, ESPN), and public calendar feeds. This is one-directional: the server sends event data to your device. Your device does not send personal data back.
3. Third-Party Services
The app contains links to external websites including venue pages, ticket sellers (Google Search results), Google Calendar, and social media sharing endpoints. When you tap these links, you leave RVA Tonight and are subject to those services' privacy policies. We do not control what those services collect.
The app uses Google Fonts to load typefaces. Google may collect anonymized usage data through this service. See Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.
4. Analytics & Tracking
RVA Tonight does not use analytics services, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or fingerprinting of any kind. We do not use cookies.
5. Children's Privacy
RVA Tonight does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect information from anyone — it has no mechanism to do so.
6. Sponsored Events
The app may display events marked as "Sponsored." These are paid placements by local venues and event organizers. Sponsored events are selected manually based on business agreements, not based on user data or behavioral targeting.
7. Data Security
Since we don't collect or store your data, there is no user data to secure on our end. Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's security measures.
8. Your Rights
Since RVA Tonight does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete on our servers. You can clear locally stored data at any time through your device or browser settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our data practices, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above. If we ever begin collecting personal data, we will notify users and obtain consent as required by applicable law.
